This portion of the site offers a podcast on spiritual based topics. You may be asking, "What is the Voice of the One?" That's a great question. You may think naming the podcast "The Voice of the One" sounds full of ego. The truth is this Voice resides in all of us and speaks from Singlemindedness. I discovered it in miracle forgiveness practice trying to love my girlfriend at the dinner table and while working with so called special needs children living in the prayers of Jesus from ACIM. One day I was very frustrated and reached the natural conclusion that I could not fix my girlfriend or my "special needs" client and my mind suddenly went quite. (All my brothers are special). All that remained was the slogan of "The Great Crusade" Jesus offers in the ACIM Urtext. A a willingness to listen to His Voice, learn to undo error, and do something to correct it.
I felt the fear of humility scared the Voice of God my say something that would expose me somehow and felt humiliated I wasn't competent enough to handle "my" life situation. Yet the silent willingness response was the only Answer, no other choice existed. I had nothing to say or do but rest in that silence and the burden of trying to control the situation and be the fixer was lifted. I felt my arm lift on it's own and wrap around my friends shoulder. In my surrender a loving energy took over my vocal cords and one began to speak spontaneously as the meaning of real empathy in ACIM was understood. I was amazed a what came out of my mouth and He diffused a very excited situation. That was another day that changed my life as He taught me even more about what miracle forgiveness is and how effortless it can be. The love of God on planet earth. That's what forgiveness is. The loving Voice of forgiveness that always knows what to say or do was always there. All I had to do was get "myself" out of the way.
The Voice of the One Self is who you really are behind the addicted emotional private thinker and belief your a body. This Voice can be heard in the space between two egoic thoughts. The impersonal Voice of Silence that is covered over by a parasitic chattering mind that is conniving and is controlling your life. Your real Voice is teaching humanity about the sickness of operating from a privatized mind at the level of the intellect, the false self, and thought system of the ego. What is the Voice of the One?
​“The purpose of words is to limit, and by limiting to make a vast area of experience more manageable. But that means manageable by YOU. For many aspects of living in this world that is necessary. But not for asking. God does not use words and does not answer in words. He can only "speak" to the Christ in you, Who translates His Answer into whatever language you can understand and accept. Sometimes words will limit fear; sometimes not. That is why some people hear words, some receive feelings of inner conviction, and some do not become aware of anything. Yet God has answered, and His Answer will reach you when you are ready. (S 1 A 7 ACIM Urtrext)

As the teacher of God advances in his training, he learns one lesson with increasing thoroughness. He does not make his own decisions; he asks his Teacher for His answer, and it is this he follows as his guide for action. This becomes easier and easier, as the teacher of God learns to give up his own judgment. The giving up of judgment, the obvious prerequisite for hearing God’s Voice, is usually a fairly slow process, not because it is difficult, but because it is apt to be perceived as personally insulting. The world’s training is directed toward achieving a goal in direct opposition to that of our curriculum. The world trains for reliance on one’s judgment as the criterion for maturity and strength. Our curriculum trains for the relinquishment of judgment as the necessary condition of salvation. ACIM Manual for Teachers - 9-2:1-7

Only the Word of God has any meaning, because it symbolizes that which has no human symbols at all. The Holy Spirit alone understands what this Word stands for. Is the teacher of God, then, to avoid the use of words in his teaching? No, indeed! There are many who must be reached through words, being as yet unable to hear in silence. The teacher of God must, however, learn to use words in a new way. Gradually, he learns how to let his words be chosen for him by ceasing to decide for himself what he will say. This process is merely a special case of the lesson in the workbook that says, “I will step back and let Him lead the way.” The teacher of God accepts the words which are offered him, and gives as he receives. He does not control the direction of his speaking. He listens and hears and speaks.
A major hindrance in this aspect of his learning is the teacher of God’s fear about the validity of what he hears. And what he hears may indeed be quite startling. It may also seem to be quite irrelevant to the presented problem as he perceives it, and may, in fact, confront the teacher with a situation that appears to be very embarrassing to him. All these are judgments that have no value. They are his own, coming from a shabby self-perception which he would leave behind. Judge not the words that come to you, but offer them in confidence. They are far wiser than your own. God’s teachers have God’s Word behind their symbols. And He Himself gives to the words they use the power of His Spirit, raising them from meaningless symbols to the Call of Heaven itself. ACIM Manual for Teachers 21 - 3 & 4

I give You all my thoughts today. I would have none of mine. In place of them, give me Your Own. I give You all my acts as well, that I may do Your Will instead of seeking goals which cannot be obtained, and wasting time in vain imaginings. Today I come to You. I will step back and merely follow You. Be You the Guide, and I the follower who questions not the wisdom of the Infinite, nor Love whose tenderness I cannot comprehend, but which is yet Your perfect gift to me.
Today we have one Guide to lead us on. And as we walk together, we will give this day to Him with no reserve at all. This is His day. And so it is a day of countless gifts and mercies unto us. ACIM Workbook - 233
