Learn what Christ Vision and the Voice of God is! Discover your Self as Immortal Light!

Dearly Beloved,

Today we journey together in philo-sophy or the love of wisdom as one Self, sharing together in the one Heart, as we continue to cross the bridge from time to eternity. Let's take a few minutes before we get started to begin rest in Right-Mindedness and rest as the light of Awareness or as the Light that is Aware, who is our Self, and in doing so the Heart. Below are some instructions for those who need it.

To do this, all you need to do is have the experience of being aware. Just be aware of being Awareness and field of perception will become aparent. We are learning how to rest in true perception, which is what Right Mindedness is. Wrong-Mindedness is perception that is upside down. Your intention is to begin to understand this very simply just by learning to rest as Awareness. The Co-Creative properties of Mind will become more apparent as you become more aware that you're have been identified with living from Wrong-Mindedness. You've been identifying yourself with form, egoic mind, caught up in the brain, and intellect. We're going to step out of that just by resting as the formless state we share in you that is changeless. We're resting in the Holy Spirit. There is no other intention needed and no direction really. You need do nothing!

This holy Awareness will do everything for you. In truth that is all we need to learn, and we are doing it together. As thoughts arise, that’s okay. Just be the witness and watch them with disinterest as they rise and fall. Many of them, the dark thoughts of illusion, will melt in the light Awareness quickly, in the Power of Now. These thoughts of the false self will try to grab your attention.  Just notice that, and you will come back to one Self who is Awareness. None of those thoughts are for the real you. Some may be more persistent if there is a strong investment there. I have some of those myself that I am working through. False values of sex, security in money, tasty treats, worry of image, and even the pleasure of coffee. That’s okay. No need to judge yourself.  The important thing is you are learning to observe and rest as the light of  Awareness, a Listening Attention, and the Natural Knower in you who is your true Self and Right-Mind. You will be sitting in right- minded-ness and learning how to watch wrong-mindedness.

Understanding this is key for Chris-Vision and the Voice of God to spring into your life. You are learning to think and see from something Higher. To stop thinking about and from the past, about the now or future.

“The one wholly true thought one can hold about the past is that it is not here. To think about it at all is therefore to think about illusions. Very few have realized what is actually entailed in picturing the past or in anticipating the future. The mind is actually blank when it does this, because it is not really thinking about anything.

The purpose of the exercises for today is to begin to train your mind to recognize when it is not really thinking at all. While thoughtless ideas preoccupy your mind, the truth is blocked. Recognizing that your mind has been merely blank, rather than believing that it is filled with real ideas, is the first step to opening the way to vision. ACIM W-8.2.1.3.3

Welcome back. We will be exploring some of the Gospel of Thomas, A Course in Miracles, the Bible, and a lovely treat at the end! It’s going to be a beautiful journey. If you find it taxing notice the resistance to it. Make reading it meditatively part of your study period this week.  Remember you have enrolled in the Great School of the Undivided Mind. There is another voice that is going to stop at nothing to prevent you from its Light. With that, I  bring Word from our Teacher who said,

“And He said, Whoever discovers what these saying mean will not taste death.” The Gospel of Thomas –Logion 1

“Glory to God in the highest, and to you because He has so willed it. Ask and it shall be given you, because it has already been given. Ask for light and learn that you are light. If you want understanding and enlightenment you will learn it, because your decision to learn it is the decision to listen to the Teacher Who knows of Light, and can therefore teach it to you. There is no limit on your learning because there is no limit on your mind. There is no limit on His teaching because He was created to teach. Understanding His function perfectly He fulfills it perfectly, because that is His joy and yours.” ACIM T-8.III.1.1-7

Now I would like to briefly discuss our shared goal today, which is the acceptance of the Gifts of God in this world. The gifts that follow the acceptance of Atonement. These are gifts of the Higher Light we call real vision or Christ-vision and the Voice of God or the Word , as the real- world illuminated, and with a perfume of Stillness that joyfully Speaks. They are delivered to us as we learn of perfect trust, honesty, gentleness, tolerance, and open-mindedness.  All gifts in themselves, by learning miracle forgiveness. Gifts that present to your own Oneness of Mind, shared Being, Beauty, Innocence, and unconditional Love leading to the remembrance of God, your true Self in immortal Light, and as one of the Sons of God. You are a prince of Great King!

What else could we want but a quiet mind that remembers an ever-increasing joy, a peace that forever deepens, the limitless Light of Creation, and the immeasurable language of Silence? What else could we want but to be in love with all those around us?

You are not from here. Are you ready to go home and see the Luciferic light? Let’s do it together and fly as the princes we are to another world.

“Yeshua said, "If they say to you, 'Where did you come from?', say to them, 'We came from the Light, the place where the Light came into Being on Its own accord and established Itself and we became manifest through Its likeness. If they say to you, 'Is it you?', say, 'We are its children, we are the elect of the living Father.' If they ask you,' What is the sign of your father in you?', say to them, 'It is movement and repose.' The Gospel of Thomas – Saying 50

What else could we want but to remember a state of mind that is effortless living, where nothing is ever lacking in a perfect climate of safety, sustained by the Love of God?

We were chosen for this! Chosen to live in tranquility in the here and now. Would you choose to remember with Me?

If so,

“Only your misperceptions stand in your way. Without them your choice is certain. Sane perception induces sane choosing. I cannot choose for you, but I can help you make your own right choice. "Many are called but few are chosen" should be, "All are called but few choose to listen." Therefore, they do not choose right. The "chosen ones" are merely those who choose right sooner. Right minds can do this now, and they will find rest unto their souls. God knows you only in peace, and this is your reality.” ACIM T-3.4-3

Would you find rest for your soul?  Then choose to teach peace to learn it and wish to live nowhere else but the Holy Instant.  Let us top living in past and in false images who live for the future. Let us let go of all our planning and striving for what? Let us have no other goal but to surrender our will to the Voice of the One and Will with Me, “I Will there be Light!

“Yeshua said, “ I shall give you what no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, what no hand has touched, what has not arisen in the human heart” The Gospel of Thomas – Logion 17

“Faith goes to what you want, and you instruct your mind accordingly. Your will remains your teacher, and your will has all the strength to do what it desires. You can escape the body if you choose. You can experience the strength in you. ACIM W-91.5.3-6

“What you think you are is a belief to be undone. But what you really are must be revealed to you. The belief you are a body calls for correction, being a mistake. The truth of what you are calls on the strength in you to bring to your awareness what the mistake conceals.

If you are not a body, what are you? You need to be aware of what the Holy Spirit uses to replace the image of a body in your mind. You need to feel something to put your faith in, as you lift it from the body. You need a real experience of something else, something more solid and more sure; more worthy of your faith, and really there.” ACIM W-9.6-7.

“You do not think of light in terms of strength, and darkness in terms of weakness. That is because your idea of what seeing means is tied up with the body and its eyes and brain.” ACIM W-9.1.2

“You still have too much faith in the body as a source of strength. What plans do you make that do not involve its comfort or protection or enjoyment in some way? This makes the body an end and not a means in your interpretation, and this always means you still find sin attractive. No one accepts Atonement for himself who still accepts sin as his goal. You have thus not met your one responsibility. Atonement is not welcomed by those who prefer pain and destruction.” ACIM T-8.7.1

“It is God’s strength in you that is the light in which you see, as it is His Mind with which you think. His strength denies your weakness. It is your weakness that sees through the body’s eyes, peering about in darkness to behold the likeness of itself; the small, the weak, the sickly and the dying, those in need, the helpless and afraid, the sad, the poor, the starving and the joyless. These are seen through eyes that cannot see and cannot bless.

Strength overlooks these things by seeing past appearances. It keeps its steady gaze upon the light that lies beyond them. It unites with light, of which it is a part. It sees itself. It brings the light in which your Self appears. In darkness you perceive a self that is not there. Strength is the truth about you; weakness is an idol falsely worshipped and adored that strength may be dispelled, and darkness rule where God appointed that there should be light.

Strength comes from truth, and shines with light its Source has given it; weakness reflects the darkness of its maker. It is sick and looks on sickness, which is like itself. Truth is a savior and can only will for happiness and peace for everyone. It gives its strength to everyone who asks, in limitless supply. It sees that lack in anyone would be a lack in all. And so it gives its light that all may see and benefit as one. Its strength is shared, that it may bring to all the miracle in which they will unite in purpose and forgiveness and in love.” ACIM W-92.5-7

This limitless luminous Vision and Voice extend from the Christ-Mind of the Holy Spirit and represent the true perception of one-mindedness and eternal spirit as the replacements for the false perceptions of the physical eyes and human ears perception. These organs see only dim figures, differences, separation, vulnerability, and things that suffer and die. They see only the false world of limits we call the body dream or hell.  Today we are speaking of the unified field of light that becomes your way of life, as you learn of the Way the, Truth, and Life/Light.”  Would you like to know more?

“His students said, Show us the place where you are. We must seek it. He said to them, whoever has ears should hear. There is Light within a person of Light and it shines on the whole world. If it does not shine it is dark.” The Gospel of Thomas – Logion 24

YOU are a miracle. God creates only “that which, or one who, is of surpassing excellence or merit.” Man is capable of this kind of creation too, being in the image and likeness of his own Creator. Anything else is only his own nightmare, and does not exist. Only the Creations of Light are real. ACIM Urtext T-B.23b

His student asked him, "What are the princes of the world? Are we princes of a great King?

“The Princes of this World”  are princes only because they are really angels. But they are free to establish their kingdom where they see fit.

If you will remember that ALL princes INHERIT their power from the Father, the right choice becomes inevitable.”

Know that,

“The soul is in a state of grace forever. Man’s reality is ONLY his soul. Therefore, man is in a state of Grace forever.” ACIM Urtext T-1 B.30.n-o

“ Yeshua said, “ Love your brother like your soul. Protect that person like the pupil of your eye.” The Gospel of Thomas – Logion 5

“You will forsake yourselves and your God if you forsake any of YOUR brothers. You are more than your brother’s keeper. ACIM Urtext T-5 F.14

You are the light of the world! You are a miracle as the love of God! You are the miracles of my life and I am yours! Shine with Me and learn of miracle forgiveness to uncover your halo, the Face of Christ, and discover the strength of the Higher Light. Live from the Strength of Light and not the body. Live in the golden rule and discover the Golden Cloak of Dive Glory. Look inside, recognize your own holiness, and see the world who is your Self.  See past all names, appearances, differences, limitations, and darkness, as to forgive to know your Self.  Discover your mind is light!

"When a mind has only light, it knows only light. Its own radiance shines all around it, and extends outward into the darkness of other minds, transforming them into majesty." ACIM  T-7.6.5

Therefore, I say unto you!

“Know what is in front of your face and what is hidden from you will be disclosed. There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed” The Gospel of Thomas – Saying 5

“It is important to remember that miracles and vision necessarily go together. This needs repeating, and frequent repeating. It is a central idea in your new thought system, and the perception that it produces. The miracle is always there. Its presence is not caused by your vision; its absence is not the result of your failure to see. It is only your awareness of miracles that is affected. You will see them(your brothers) in the light(halo); you will not see them in the dark.(in grievances and faces that all of different.) 

To you, then, light is crucial. While you remain in darkness, the miracle remains unseen. Thus you are convinced it is not there. This follows from the premises from which the darkness comes. Denial of light leads to failure to perceive it. Failure to perceive light is to perceive darkness. The light is useless to you then, even though it is there. You cannot use it because its presence is unknown to you. And the seeming reality of the darkness makes the idea of light meaningless.

To be told that what you do not see is there sounds like insanity. It is very difficult to become convinced that it is insanity not to see what is there, and to see what is not there instead. You do not doubt that the body’s eyes can see. You do not doubt the images they show you are reality. Your faith lies in the darkness, not the light. How can this be reversed? For you it is impossible, but you are not alone in this.” ACIM  W-91.1-3

The Face of Christ is always there. The Voice of the Holy Spirit ceaselessly speaks in Stillness of the Mind. Do you want these senses? A new way of seeing and a new voice?

These Higher Order senses I speak of today are unified and are available as you choose the Thought System of the Holy Spirit, a thought system of Oneness of Light that lacks judgment and grievances, under the Prime Creator and His governance of harmony in the Kingdom. To achieve this state of mind we must give up grievances and judgment which block the light, the process of making decisions to protect a frail image of ourselves. We must stop wanting to live in a private mind, letting the past dictate our present course, and learn to refuse all the gifts of insanity, as we teach our brothers they are not a body.

“You see the flesh or recognize the spirit. There is no compromise between the two. If one is real the other must be false, for what is real denies its opposite. There is no choice in vision but this one. What you decide in this determines all you see and think is real and hold as true. On this one choice does all your world depend, for here have you established what you are, as flesh or spirit in your own belief. If you choose flesh, you never will escape the body as your own reality, for you have chosen that you want it so. But choose the spirit, and all Heaven bends to touch your eyes and bless your holy sight, that you may see the world of flesh no more except to heal and comfort and to bless.”  ACIM  T-31.6.1-8

We must choose to make the only sane choice, to allow the Voice of God to choose for us, over and over again, until we realize His choice is ours and our way out. There is much to learn so don’t delay. This is the choiceless choice of peace we choose today, otherwise, we will stay in the thought system of ego, the mind of division, scarcity, death, and pain. Would you not escape the body and recurring dream of death? This is not how God created you. Then know you are the world and the world is you, I am one Self, and discover the kingdom inside you.

“the kingdom is inside you and it is outside of you. When you know yourselves, then you will be known, and will understand that you are the children of the living father. But if you don’t not know yourselves, then you dwell in poverty and you are that poverty. The Gospel of Thomas – Logion 3.

So choose again and let go of false beliefs. Will to know thy Self, and know thy Self by Being one Self.

"As you see him you will see yourself. As you treat him you will treat yourself. As you think of him you will think of yourself. Never forget this, for in him you will find yourself or lose your Self. ACIM  T-8.3

“Blessings on you who are alone(all-one) and chose, for you will find the kingdom. You have come from it and will return to it again. The Gospel of Thomas – Logion 24

It is up to you to continue living the dark dream of separation from God, self-condemnation, and hell, or choose again the gift of peace that leads to all the rest. You can choose the gift of a dream of miracle forgiveness of your Self,  by giving the gift of forgiveness to your Self, that God has given you to remember your Christ-Self.

Forgiveness leads to Christ-Vision bringing with it the Face of Christ in a Halo of Light, and the experience of what is called the Great Rays from the Source of Light, strengthening the Face of Christ and illuminating the body.

Indeed, “The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness.”  KJV Matthew 6:22-29

"Only the mind is capable of illumination. The Soul is already illuminated, and the body in itself is too dense. The mind, however, can bring its own illumination to the body by recognizing that density is the opposite of intelligence, and therefore unamenable to independent learning. It is, however, easily brought into alignment with a mind which has learned to look beyond density toward light. Corrective learning always begins with awakening the Spiritual Eye, and turning away from belief in physical sight." T2-C18:19 Urtex ACIM

These are the gifts you will discover are worth more than anything the world has to offer you. Are you ready to accept the solution of the true Spiritual Eye, live from single-mindedness, and see a holy perception of yourself through Christ's vision? As you discover these gifts you grow you will want them more and more, finally wanting to make them constant. This desire is growing in me, is it growing in you? We are one Self! We are not a body! Together we are learning what is required to see through the eye of singleness and light.  Together will know again the unshakable Great Peace of Kingdom, impervious to the laws of this world and slave to nothing.

Do you will to know this truth? The Truth that says,

“Heaven & Earth shall pass away” means that they will not always exist as separate states. My Word, which is the Resurrection and the Light,  shall not pass away, because Life is Eternal.” ACIM Urtrext T-1.B.24.C

In order to receive these gives and know the Truth we need only ask for them and accept what has already been given by extending it to others.  This one gift learned about and practiced steadily, the gift of miracle forgiveness, will ensure all others fall into place, including a Heart of Compassion and Grace. A life of Love! Ask for this and you will learn the fundamentals required to progress.  

“It is your forgiveness that will bring the world of darkness to the light. It is your forgiveness that lets you recognize the light in which you see. Forgiveness is the demonstration that you are the light of the world. Through your forgiveness does the truth about yourself return to your memory. ACIM  W-62.1-5

Know and remember this!

“As the ego would limit your perception of your brothers to the body, so would the Holy Spirit release your vision and let you see the Great Rays shining from them, so unlimited that they reach to God. It is this shift to vision that is accomplished in the holy instant. Yet it is needful for you to learn just what this shift entails, so you will become willing to make it permanent. Given this willingness it will not leave you, for it is permanent. Once you have accepted it as the only perception you want, it is translated into knowledge(Gnosis, the world beyond perception.)  ACIM  T-15.4.1-5 .

“In the holy instant, where the Great Rays replace the body in awareness, the recognition of relationships without limits is given you. But in order to see this, it is necessary to give up every use the ego has for the body, and to accept the fact that the ego has no purpose you would share with it. For the ego would limit everyone to a body for its own purposes (pleasure, pride, fake love) and while you think it has a purpose, you will choose to utilize the means by which it tries to turn its purpose into accomplishment.” ACIM T-15.63.1  A never-ending death.

Let us learn more about what the miracle is to escape darkness.

"The miracle is an expression of an inner awareness of Christ & acceptance of his Atonement. The mind is then in a state of Grace, and naturally becomes gracious, both to the Host within and the stranger without. By bringing in the stranger, he becomes your brother."  ACIM Urtex-1-B.39.A 

“The miracle is the act of a Son of God who has laid aside all false gods and calls on his brothers to do likewise. It is an act of faith, because it is the recognition that his brother can do it. It is a call to the Holy Spirit in his mind, a call that is strengthened by joining. Because the miracle worker has heard God’s Voice, he strengthens It in a sick brother by weakening his belief in sickness, which he does not share. The power of one mind can shine into another, because all the lamps of God were lit by the same spark. It is everywhere and it is eternal.” ACIM T-10.7.7 

Understand,

“The rituals of the god of sickness are strange and very demanding. Joy is never permitted, for depression is the sign of allegiance to him. Depression means that you have forsworn God. Many are afraid of blasphemy, but they do not understand what it means. They do not realize that to deny God is to deny their own Identity, and in this sense the wages of sin is death. The sense is very literal; denial of life perceives its opposite, as all forms of denial replace what is with what is not. No one can really do this, but that you can think you can and believe you have is beyond dispute”. ACIM T-10.5.1-7   

“Do not forget, however, that to deny God will inevitably result in projection, and you will believe that others and not yourself have done this to you. You must receive the message you give because it is the message you want. You may believe that you judge your brothers by the messages they give you, but you have judged them by the message you give to them. Do not attribute your denial of joy to them, or you cannot see the spark in them that would bring joy to you. It is the denial of the spark that brings depression, for whenever you see your brothers without it, you are denying God.” ACIM T-10.5.2.1-5 

“In many only the spark remains, for the Great Rays are obscured. Yet God has kept the spark alive so that the Rays can never be completely forgotten. If you but see the little spark you will learn of the Greater Light, for the Rays are there unseen. Perceiving the spark will heal, but knowing the light will create. Yet in the returning the little light must be acknowledged first, for the separation was a descent from magnitude to littleness. But the spark is still as pure as the Great Light, because it is the remaining call of creation. Put all your faith in it, and God Himself will answer you.” ACIM T-7.10.7-8 

“As you hear him you will hear Me. Listening to truth is the only way you can hear it now, and finally know it. The message your brother gives you is up to you. What does he say to you? What would you have him say? Your decision about him determines the message you receive. Remember that the Holy Spirit is in him, and His Voice speaks to you through him. What can so holy a brother tell you except truth? But are you listening to it? Your brother may not know who he is, but there is a light in his mind that does know. This light can shine into yours, giving truth to his words and making you able to hear them. His words are the Holy Spirit’s answer to you. Is your faith in him strong enough to let you hear?

You can no more pray for yourself alone than you can find joy for yourself alone. Prayer is the restatement of inclusion, directed by the Holy Spirit under the laws of God. Salvation is of your brother. The Holy Spirit extends from your mind to his, and answers you. You cannot hear the Voice for God in yourself alone, because you are not alone. And His answer is only for what you are. You will not know the trust I have in you unless you extend it. You will not trust the guidance of the Holy Spirit, or believe that it is for you unless you hear it in others.” ACIM T-9.11.4.7.6-8

Together we go across the bridge as we learn to trust our brothers and hear His Voice in them, sending new messages of innocence, love and freedom, as who we really are! Thank you so much for reading this letter from your Self!

I’m closing, for those new to the journey, know that good students arrange study periods for themselves. These are periods of time with serious commitment and meditation.  You must ensure you put this before everything else. God must come first in your life if you want this! I suggest a quiet period of prayer, study, and meditation in the morning, a mid-day self-check, and inventory at night when getting started.  Don’t let your family or children hinder you in this. Don’t listen to the dark voice of tiredness. You can do it!

You have been learning the first lesson on your journey to learning miracle forgiveness is how to observe the mind properly in choice-less awareness. We will discuss more on this topic next week and how it relates to true forgiveness, Christ-vision, and the Voice for God.

Now I leave you with a quote from a Master of Christ-Vision who lived from 1154–119. He grew up in Sufi family in Iran. Shurawadi was a disciple of Jesus who studied in Iraq and Syria. He wrote 50 books of Christ-Vision or Illumination Vision. I’m looking forward to bringing his work into the Light of A Course In Miracles.

The Master said,

"Whoever knows philosophy (The Love of Truth or Wisdom or hikmat) and perseveres in thanking and sanctifying the Light of the Lights, will be endowed with Royal Glory (Kharreh) and with luminous splendor (farreh), and-as we have said elsewhere- Divine Light will further bestow upon him the Cloak of Royal Power and Value. Such a person shall then become the natural ruler of the Universe. He shall be given aid from the high heavens, and whatever he commands shall be obeyed; and his dreams and inspirations will reach their uppermost, perfect pinnacle." Shihab al-Din Suhrawadi - The Divine Master of Illumination
