Part 2: New discourse on the Spiritual Eye, halos, true forgiveness, and much more!

The work continues. I will be writing you more often in the weeks to come. Below is the continued discourse we have been working to publish. This is a portion of Part 2. There are a lot of minor errors that need editing and passage references that need to be cleaned up. I will contracting some help on Upwork in the weeks ahead. I felt I could not wait for that.

“The world, in its original connotation, included both the proper creation of man by God, AND the proper creation by man in his Right Mind.” ACIM Urtext 2 A 9.

In “A Course In Miracles” Jesus teaches us about a perfect human as a creation of the light in a celestial order created by God. A higher-order being that today no longer believes in his perfection or sinlessness and has descended into a dream of fear also referred to as “The Fall”. This is discussed in the Gnostic Gospels and various versions of biblical texts, of which many interpretations are off-the-mark.

“Christ inspires all miracles, which are essentially intercessions. They intercede for man’s holiness, and make him holy. They place man beyond the physical laws, and raise him into the sphere of celestial order. In this order, man IS perfect.” ACIM Urtex T 1 B 27d

 The world is unaware of the teaching of Christ’s illumination vision through miracle forgiveness, even though it’s right in front of our face, quite literally. To remember this aspect of your Self, the real man, one needs to awaken the spiritual eye to perceive what the mark of holiness is for the Right-Minded. Without an awakened spiritual eye, which allows the perception of your Self as Light, the remembrance of this and transfer to Reality is impossible. You have to want to see the spirit, not the flesh. What does the spiritual eye see? Only perfection.

“Right‐Minded seeing cannot see ANYTHING BUT perfection. We have said many times that ONLY what God creates, or what man creates with the same will, has any real existence. This, then, is all that the innocent can see. They do not suffer from the delusions of the Separated ones.” ACIM Urtex T 3 D4

As one has been discussing the holy vision of oneness seen as a halo of light and the “real world” or world illuminated is a corrective reflective image of your Self given you a the miracle remembrance of who you are.  We call it the “real world “because Reality is Light along with its holy attributes. Darkness is an illusion with its characteristics. In the recognition of holiness you know your Self as an extension or creative expression of the Higher Light. If don’t perceive this you are not in your Right-Mind. This is the Light of God or God Head emanating from Source in the shared Mind of the Singularity in all of its aspects, which includes choiceless awareness in a co-creative expression of Self. Other aspects of Light would be terms like Mind, Will, Thought, Power, Love, Gentleness, and Being. The term God Head is symbolic to mean God alone Orders your Thought or the Thoughts of the one Self for all souls of the One Mind of the Creator. The God Head is the only true Authority, the Over Soul, Governing the extensions of its Self in the Sonship, the Sons of God, in harmony with each other and Himself because they are Himself and your Self.

“God has lit your minds Himself, and keeps your mind lit BY His light because His light is WHAT YOUR MINDS ARE. This is TOTALLY beyond question. And when YOU questioned it, you WERE answered.” ACIM Urtex T 7 E 5.

Wrong-Mindedness is disordered thinking or thinking in isolation and darkness perceived from the cranium of flesh and bone from divided mind. This is caused by the invention of guilt and judgment in the belief in a lack of love from God or the present moment. A wish to be different from your brothers.

Isn’t fear a perceived lack of love in the now? Fear of what? There is a separation of effect, effect being the individual divine beings, from the original Cause, which is God or Immortal Light, that is perceiving its opposite.

“God’s Creations cannot lose their holiness, although it can be hidden. The miracle uncovers it, and brings it into the light where it belongs.” ACIM Urtext T 1 B 27b.

The miracle of real vision unveils a corrective image of Light, a Holy Thought of perfection, that replaces the limited dark imaginings of a body identity projected by the egoic intellect. The privatized mind is caught in the vicious cycle of the addiction to guilt or time, in a belief in sin or corruption, a lack of love, or absence of light. The illuminated images of real vision bring joy and the remembrance of shared identity as a limitless Self of infinite light in Singleness of Christ. A Mind forever inviolate and held in perfectly safe with no needs, except the desire to express or maintain real vision as the absence of judgment or self-centered thinking, leading back to the pathways of true Creation at one with the Holy Spirit.

“It is important to remember that miracles and vision necessarily go together. This needs repeating, and frequent repeating. It is a central idea in your new thought system, and the perception that it produces. The miracle is always there. Its presence is not caused by your vision; its absence is not the result of your failure to see. It is only your awareness of miracles that is affected. You will see them in the light; you will not see them in the dark. To you, then, light is crucial” ACIM Workbook Lesson 91 Miracles are Seen in Light

Never forget, you are a miracle. In this world this expressed through an illuminate image, one of His likeness. One has been using the term “image or imaginings”.  These terms are quite specific as we are dealing with the realm of perception where the necessities for vision or images exist, whether that be the corrective spiritual sight of oneness or the errors of physical sight. The Atonement teaches vision or images don’t exist in the Realm of Knowledge, however our perception of the image of ourselves must be corrected in order to transfer back to the Realm of Knowledge.

True knowledge of divine order is not possible until true-depth perception is reached at the highest level of perceptual integration where intra and inter-personal boundaries of the soul and all our heritage are understood.  The function of true perception or real vision is to bring awareness of these truths correcting perception until it’s perfect making transfer to Knowledge or Certainty of Perfection beyond the world of perception. A return to the Pleroma, the fullness of the Divine in Reality of Immortal Light. This is the same as saying true depth perception allows full transfer back to the Reality of Angels as the Sons of God. This is discussed both in the ACIM text and various texts of the people of the book.

“While you remain in darkness, the miracle remains unseen. Thus you are convinced it is not there. This follows from the premises from which the darkness comes. Denial of light leads to failure to perceive it. Failure to perceive light is to perceive darkness. The light is useless to you then, even though it is there. You cannot use it because its presence is unknown to you. And the seeming reality of the darkness makes the idea of light meaningless.” ACIM Workbook Lesson 91 Miracles are Seen in Light

Spiritual sight leads the mind back to serving the soul in its fullness, the Sonship, and God rather than the idea of lack, the false self, and the false gods of the physical sense organs it worships. It does this by correcting the perception of the illusion appetite, the getting concept, and levels of needs or segments of reality that seem to function independently as causes within themselves, both in the body and outside elsewhere, and often conflict with one another.  It corrects the misperception of a point of cause perceived outside of the mind and beyond the mind's control or on a different level than where it actually occurs within the mind. This misperception as taught by the Yeshua or the “Savior” is known as “level confusion” and the ego’s trick of magic. These levels are optical illusions and not the levels of the Trinity, which is divine mental process and perfect integration of Mind producing harmony and eternal protection of Heaven under the Laws of God in Creation.

“You do not think of light in terms of strength, and darkness in terms of weakness. That is because your idea of what seeing means is tied up with the body and its eyes and brain.” “You also believe the body’s brain can think. If you but understood the nature of thought, you could but laugh at this insane idea.” It is God’s strength in you that is the light in which you see, as it is His Mind with which you think. His strength denies your weakness. It is your weakness that sees through the body’s eyes, peering about in darkness to behold the likeness of itself; the small, the weak, the sickly and the dying, those in need, the helpless and afraid, the sad, the poor, the starving and the joyless. These are seen through eyes that cannot see and cannot bless." ACIM Workbook Lesson 92 Miracles are Seen in Light

The truth is we perceive what we want to perceive. What persist in our experience is what we focus on and value. We can to overlook, forget to remember, and let go. The world values scarcity, weakness, flesh, and comparison in so many ways. Don’t you? Our retirement funds depend on it, as do so many of our likes, dislikes, and what we call are strength is nothing more than idols. We are in the business of making the unreal real and valuing sickness. We don’t want light but darkness. We don’t want strength but weakness. This is the profession of the medical and retirement communities world wide. This is what they actual profess but don't know it.

Strength overlooks these things by seeing past appearances. It keeps its steady gaze upon the light that lies beyond them. It unites with light, of which it is a part. It sees itself. It brings the light in which your Self appears. In darkness you perceive a self that is not there. Strength is the truth about you; weakness is an idol falsely worshipped and adored that strength may be dispelled, and darkness rule where God appointed that there should be light.” ACIM Workbook Lesson 92 Miracles are Seen in Light

The Holy Spirit has extended a spiritual eye and the Atonement as He inspires the perception of miracles, the corrective Thought of the Atonement, which is the Thought of God’s Forgiveness and His perfect love demonstrated in experience by His Gift of a Vision of the Incorruptible.  The process is an extension of the healing Thought of the Light of God that heals separation sickness of mind, toppling idols, and undoing of level confusion. The spiritual eye works as a corrective device for false beliefs, with corrective Thought or miraculous thinking, which is Light, under the guidance of the Atonement, whom is the resurrected mind and your Teacher extended as Jesus. The eye does not see error as Self, seeing only Light, which is what correction is. This is how your Teacher sees you. A Teacher at One with the Holy Spirit that corrects beliefs such as; your mind is not creating your experience, darkness exists, ideas of corruption, scarcity, and all beliefs that say you’re a body.

“To be told that what you do not see is there sounds like insanity. It is very difficult to become convinced that it is insanity not to see what is there, and to see what is not there instead. You do not doubt that the body’s eyes can see. You do not doubt the images they show you are reality. The eye perceives both the manifestations of the egoic thinking mind or intellect as false, yet relative to their temporary use in the world and spiritual classroom, as well as the manifestations of God, which are always expressions of Light. Some of these expressions are temporary, such as miracle forgiveness and the real vision which it symbolizes, as well as other eternal creations such as your angelic heritage. The eye allows for experience in both the physical world and other dimensions of existence as thought creates higher order realities and makes lower order realities. Vision is active in the normal waking state, in states of physical seep, psychedelic experience, and meditation producing out of body awareness and allowing for visits to other realms in consciousness. Real vision has the ability of perceiving the Light of Being in all of these realities.    

““God is in everything I see because God is in my mind.”The idea for today is the springboard for vision. From this idea will the world open up before you, and you will look upon it and see in it what you have never seen before. Nor will what you saw before be even faintly visible to you. Today we are trying to use a new kind of “projection.” We are not attempting to get rid of what we do not like by seeing it outside. Instead, we are trying to see in the world what is in our minds, and what we want to recognize is there. Thus, we are trying to join with what we see, rather than keeping it apart from us. That is the fundamental difference between vision and the way you see. Real vision is not limited to concepts such as “near” and “far.” Real vision is not only unlimited by space and distance, but it does not depend on the body’s eyes at all. Through the spiritual eye miraculous thought is extended in the unveiled holy halo of the Christ-Self and holy thought that illuminates the body as well, along with an enveloping light around all objects in the field of experience, which are recognized as oneness and innocence, in a state of abundance as aspects of Self sameness. Everything you give you give to your Self. This perception results in a deepening peace in the constant joy of real vision and limitless love as you share the Christ-Mind of the Holy Spirit with your brothers as your Self.

“Wholeness is the perceptual content of the miracle.”  ACIM Urtext T 1 B 36a

Within the unconscious of conditioned human mind objects of experience or physical matter are our own sick thoughts or mental images. The mind is filled with ideas of guilt and lack being projected or extended on a dark screen of consciousness, again made possible by the idea of emptiness or lack. This is very similar to a movie projector and screen displaying a linear time sequence which is your own mind, in which you are misusing the creative Light of God to deceive yourself in a make-believe movie of the separation from God and His Sons. With the power of vision a newly understood and very holy Cause-Effect or Father-Son relationship, the Source of Light is extended from God to the Sons of God illuminating the mental images in the mind that were once dark due to always being perceived through the lens of the past experience or time, as labels with egoic purposes of division and lack, external causation, and identification with finite form or density through physical memory and the physical senses. Dark images are images that don’t radiate the Light of the Unity of Being from the Present Memory of Ever Lasting Light or Life. Dark images are what most people see as the world around them with the physical eyes in an illusion of separation and differences made possible by the contrast of judgment and emotion of guilt.

You see the world that you have made, but you do not see yourself as the image maker. You cannot be saved from the world, but you can escape from its cause. This is what salvation means, for where is the world you see when its cause is gone? Vision already holds a replacement for everything you think you see now. Loveliness can light your images, and so transform them that you will love them, even though they were made of hate. For you will not be making them alone. ACIM Urtex - WB 23

The denial of the Spiritual Eye, the luminous world of real vision it shows, and a world of angels is a condition common among all those who justify the darkness of division, time, scarcity, weakness, bargains, vulnerability, climax or inconstancy, and variable states of mind, along with self-initiated planning to support these ideas as valuable. They are our way of life. These conditions are handmaiden to spiritual sickness, which is external searching for a sense of completion in some way. They are the result of the belief judgment, guilt, and sin under the scarcity fallacy that came into being with illusion of separation, not the “Natural Grand Division” undertaken by God in teaching of Jesus. All of these conditions maintain idolatry in the mind, however, they do not make those conditions holy true.

“God WOULD be mocked if ANY of his creations lacked holiness. The Creation IS whole. The mark of Wholeness is Holiness, not holes. THE SONSHIP HAS NO HOLES ANYWHERE.” ACIM Urtext T 1 B 35f.

There are many teachers that don’t know of true depth of these principles, nor do they understand the power of false beliefs under the Laws of God playing out in their own minds. They are therefore in denial of the power of the Mind and God perceiving or experiencing God’s opposite. That is the function of denial. It always perceives it's opposite. They don’t understand that false beliefs must be corrected in perception in alignment with the Laws of God transforming the field of experience from darkness to light, vulnerability to invulnerability, guilt to innocence, powerless to powerful, and pain to painless in all forms so the transfer to divine realms can take place. Otherwise, there is still a denial of God and insanity still resides in the mind. We must make the transfer from seeing the body as our source of strength, sustained by things of world, to beings of light, being only sustained by love or light of God. In truth you are sustained by the Love of God alone, heaven and earth will pass.

Here is the answer to every problem that will confront you, today and tomorrow and throughout time. In this world, you believe you are sustained by everything but God. Your faith is placed in the most trivial and insane symbols; pills, money, “protective” clothing, influence, prestige, being liked, knowing the “right” people, and an endless list of forms of nothingness that you endow with magical powers.

All these things are your replacements for the Love of God. All these things are cherished to ensure a body identification. They are songs of praise to the ego. Do not put your faith in the worthless. It will not sustain you.

Only the Love of God will protect you in all circumstances. It will lift you out of every trial, and raise you high above all the perceived dangers of this world into a climate of perfect peace and safety. It will transport you into a state of mind that nothing can threaten, nothing can disturb, and where nothing can intrude upon the eternal calm of the Son of God.

Put not your faith in illusions. They will fail you. Put all your faith in the Love of God within you; eternal, changeless and forever unfailing. This is the answer to whatever confronts you today. Through the Love of God within you, you can resolve all seeming difficulties without effort and in sure confidence. Tell yourself this often today. It is a declaration of release from the belief in idols. It is your acknowledgment of the truth about yourself. ACIM Lesson 50 – I am Sustained By the Love of God.”

We are in denial of the constancy of the Light of Vision, our Being, and therefore do not see the potential of unshakable peace, ever-increasing joy, or changeless experience while in the classroom of the physical world. This means to be truly in the world and not of it. The words of Jesus in the ACIM text “I am one Self unchangeable, with transitory states by definition false. That includes all shifts in feeling, alterations in conditions of body and the mind; in all awareness and in all response”, are unknown to many spiritual teachers in the world, having no value to them, nor do they want to discover this state of mind for themselves in favor of the cancer of pleasure they believe they transcended and living in vengeance forcing the body to age, get sick, and die. Many ignore these conditions because they know the physical world is not real but fail to accept the Atonement.

Many believe in a false view of the law of correspondence believing the body has its own intelligence and instincts. That we must obey the physical laws and works of Jesus to be nothing more than metaphors. Perhaps this seems too extreme? We must come to terms with our sickness or the addiction to death or climax, no longer accepting and rationalizing limited experience as essentially healthy while in the body. We must see we are not living out the true purpose of the body and are using it as a means to experience states mind that are not valuable otherwise we would no experience them. We can instead use it purely as a means of holy communication or commune to regain eternity through real vision and live truly healthy. Read these words below. Feel their truth. Accept there is more work to be done!

“It is impossible to seek for pleasure through the body and not find pain. It is essential that this relationship be understood, for it is one the ego sees as proof of sin. It is not really punitive at all. It is but the inevitable result of equating yourself with the body, which is the invitation to pain.  For it invites fear to enter and become your purpose. The attraction of guilt must enter with it, and whatever fear directs the body to do is therefore painful. It will share the pain of all illusions, and the illusion of pleasure will be the same as pain.

Is not this inevitable? Under fear’s orders the body will pursue guilt, serving its master whose attraction to guilt maintains the whole illusion of its existence. This, then, is the attraction of pain. Ruled by this perception the body becomes the servant of pain, seeking it dutifully and obeying the idea that pain is pleasure. It is this idea that underlies all of the ego’s heavy investment in the body. And it is this insane relationship that it keeps hidden, and yet feeds upon. To you it teaches that the body’s pleasure is happiness. Yet to itself it whispers, “It is death.”

Why should the body be anything to you? Certainly what it is made of is not precious. And just as certainly it has no feeling. It transmits to you the feelings that you want. Like any communication medium the body receives and sends the messages that it is given. It has no feeling for them. All of the feeling with which they are invested is given by the sender and the receiver. The ego and the Holy Spirit both recognize this, and both also recognize that here the sender and receiver are the same. The Holy Spirit tells you this with joy. The ego hides it, for it would keep you unaware of it. Who would send messages of hatred and attack if he but understood he sends them to himself? Who would accuse, make guilty and condemn himself? ACIM -Chapter 19 The Attraction of Pain

Are we willing to see that we are in love with our sickness as our belief in sin or corruption. Most have no idea what these ideas really mean, meaning how they impact life experience or reality as we know it. We are in denial of our Power and must regain control over physical matter. We must no longer live as the army of the powerless people and see our Self as limited. Are we willing to learn that the process of the body aging is actually a form of hatred, the result of a love for pleasure, and belief in powerlessness? That is what it is! The flower of climax. It is the reflection of the idea of a loss of vitality and peak experience or death. Ideas that are valued in the mind in subtle deceptive form, accepted as true, given faith, and manifested as our treasured beliefs about ourselves.

I cannot be the only one who wishes to go beyond them and refuses to want to be a slave to the laws of the world! Are we willing to see that we want to die more so than we think? That we want to grow old and share our so called “golden years” in a lie we have romanced for eons. Only those who hate themselves in the belief of powerlessness want to die and force the body to suffer into old age and the decrepit. Why?  Golden years are those that reflect the golden rule of refection eternal in the light of God’s Being and our shared holiness and incorruptibility in perfect health.  Is this not more valuable to pursue than those sorry parables? Join me in pursuing it!

Do you want to heal as I do? Then you must own your reflection, your state of mind, and learn to live under the laws of God. That is what heals is. Letting go of the laws of the ego and learning to think with God. Don’t say the body and this world belong to the egoic mind because they belong to your mind. They are your beliefs not your egos. You are not powerless, you are a creator! Let us consider these passage from the ACIM text.

“Do you not see that all your misery comes from the strange belief that you are powerless? Being helpless is the cost of sin. Helplessness is sin’s condition; the one requirement that it demands to be believed. Only the helpless could believe in it.”

“No one (of sound of mind) believes the Son of God is powerless. And those who see themselves as helpless must believe that they are not the Son of God. What can they be except his enemy? And what can they do but envy him his power, and by their envy make themselves afraid of it? These are the dark ones, silent and afraid, alone and not communicating, fearful the power of the Son of God will strike them dead, and raising up their helplessness against him.”

“They join the army of the powerless, to wage their war of vengeance, bitterness and spite on him, to make him one with them. Because they do not know that they are one with him, they know not whom they hate. They are indeed a sorry army, each one as likely to attack his brother or turn upon himself as to remember that they thought they had a common cause.”

“Do I desire a world I rule instead of one that rules me?

Do I desire a world where I am powerful instead of helpless?

Do I desire a world in which I have no enemies and cannot sin?

And do I want to see what I denied because it is the truth?””  ACIM Urtex Chapter 21 The Inner Picture - Perception and Wishes

The answer is obvious and unless you want to stay impotent in another unconscious lie protecting your belief in frailty and worldly rewards have value, for they are one. This is the sickness you are trading every day back and forth with the world. The poison you give your grandparents to give yourself in your own belief in corruption and limitation. This is your reflection. Your secret sins and hidden hates offer pleasure as happiness, false care, and protection of the body that imprisons you in a false identity. The ignorance we claim as wisdom we trade with others everyday enforcing our defense against the truth and seems to have no end. We are dedicated to living in the reverse of the gold rule in our addiction to our belief in sin, death, and powerlessness. Teaching is learning my brothers. What do you want to learn? What do you desire? What message will you give your brother? For it is what you will, what you long for, and that will teach you that will teach you. There is no other way. Choose again!

"Healing must occur in exact proportion to which the valuelessness of sickness is recognized. One need but say, “There is no gain at all to me in this” and he is healed. But to say this, one first must recognize certain facts. First, it is obvious that decisions are of the mind, not of the body. If sickness is but a faulty problem-solving approach, it is a decision. And if it is a decision, it is the mind and not the body that makes it. The resistance to recognizing this is enormous, because the existence of the world as you perceive it depends on the body being the decision maker. Terms like “instincts,” “reflexes” and the like represent attempts to endow the body with non-mental motivators. Actually, such terms merely state or describe the problem. They do not answer it."

Why won’t we admit forcing the body into frailty and that physical pain and appetite is a sicknesses, same as any so-called incurable cancer? Why have we accepted limitation as a way of life? We don't want to heal!

"The acceptance of sickness as a decision of the mind, for a purpose for which it would use the body, is the basis of healing. And this is so for healing in all forms. A patient decides that this is so, and he recovers. If he decides against recovery, he will not be healed. Who is the physician? Only the mind of the patient himself. The outcome is what he decides that it is. Special agents seem to be ministering to him, yet they but give form to his own choice. He chooses them in order to bring tangible form to his desires. And it is this they do, and nothing else. They are not actually needed at all. The patient could merely rise up without their aid and say, “I have no use for this.” There is no form of sickness that would not be cured at once."

Consider this a message from your special agent. Are you ready to see things differently and put on the Royal Cloak of Divine Glory shining behind the Face of Christ? Say, " I AM!" let the Mind produce what is required to bring your classroom alive. Say, "I AM!" and sing the Self-same gift of reflection eternal innocence. Your Creator's song to His Son in forgiveness of himself. The body offers you nothing. Sing not the dirge of sleepwalkers.

"What is the single requisite for this shift in perception? It is simply this; the recognition that sickness is of the mind, and has nothing to do with the body. What does this recognition “cost”? It costs the whole world you see, for the world will never again appear to rule the mind. For with this recognition is responsibility placed where it belongs; not with the world, but on him who looks on the world and sees it as it is not. He looks on what he chooses to see. No more and no less. The world does nothing to him. He only thought it did. Nor does he do anything to the world, because he was mistaken about what it is. Herein is the release from guilt and sickness both, for they are one. Yet to accept this release, the insignificance of the body must be an acceptable idea.”

Are you a settler? Why settle for less than perfection and freedom from all limitations? Be a renaissance man or women and work toward accepting the gift of real vision and let go of chaos. Nothing else has lasting meaning! Let us continue with the words of our Teacher reminding us of the insignificance of the body as our primary decision at attain unshakable peace. That is what we are after in the here and now, for this is no afterlife but only Life eternal now.

“With this idea is pain forever gone. But with this idea goes also all confusion about creation. Does not this follow of necessity? Place cause and effect in their true sequence in one respect, and the learning will generalize and transform the world. The transfer value of one true idea has no end or limit. The final outcome of this lesson is the remembrance of God. What do guilt and sickness, pain, disaster and all suffering mean now? Having no purpose, they are gone. And with them also go all the effects they seemed to cause. Cause and effect but replicate creation. Seen in their proper perspective, without distortion and without fear, they re-establish Heaven.” ACIM Manual for Teachers – Section 5

Remember that heaven and earth shall pass means they will no longer exist as separate states. This is far reaching. Most spiritual teachers believe the source of light, life, or sustenance comes from outside rather than within in various ways, but say otherwise. This leads to a dependency on externals and the belief that the body must be used as a battery to supply life force. This is truth but only as a temporary teaching aid in magic-assisted psychotherapy. Otherwise the body and world is our source of strength. The body's health is now dependent on externals for nourishment and constant care, as well as for protection from the many elements of the world.
